Below is an overview of the Mail Boxes Etc. franchise process. As you can see, with MBE you are never alone. We are here to help every step of the way.

MBE Master License Evaluation & Acquisition Process
Franchisee (Area, Individual or Multiple-Unit)

MBE Master License Evaluation & Acquisition Process

1.

Request For Information
Complete and submit the Request For Information form to assist MBE in better understanding your qualifications. MBE will provide a comprehensive brochure to you, which explains the MBE business concept and master license opportunity.

2.

Qualification & Secondary Information
Qualified parties will be contacted by an MBE representative and will receive a secondary package of information sent via courier. We will also notify parties if their qualifications are insufficient or unclear.

3.

Discovery Days Meetings
Qualified parties will be invited to attend the private discovery days meetings (two days) at MBE global headquarters in San Diego, California. These meetings will serve as an essential step to obtaining a detailed understanding and valuable information regarding the MBE business and master license opportunity.

4.

Preliminary Business Plan
Candidates will conduct due diligence evaluations and produce a preliminary business plan. MBE will provide assistance.

5.

Master Licensee Meetings
Candidates will be introduced to MBE’s existing master licensees to learn from their experiences.

6.

Meeting in Candidate’s Country & Review of Master Franchise Agreement
An MBE representative will meet with the candidate in the candidate’s country to discuss the business plan and master franchise agreement.

7.

Selection Board Approval & Preliminary Agreement
Candidate qualifications will be reviewed by MBE’s master licensee selection board for approval. Upon approval of the board, the parties will sign a preliminary agreement.

8.

Master Franchise Agreement
Upon agreement of candidate and MBE, master franchise agreement is signed and master license fee is transferred to MBE.

9.

Training and Business Launch
Master licensee management team attends a four-week international master licensee training in San Diego and begins development of MBE business infrastructure and pilot center.

Complete and submit the Request For Information form to assist MBE in better understanding your interest and qualifications. If a master licensee is in place in your region, we will forward your information to them so they can contact you. MBE (or the existing master licensee in your region) will provide a comprehensive brochure to you, which explains the MBE business concept and franchise opportunity.

Information and Due Diligence Evaluations
Following your initial contact with the local franchise development representatives, you will receive information explaining the specific process to learn more about MBE and the franchise opportunity.
